Career summary
Mark has many years experience advising small to medium sized businesses. He joined the Horwath group in 1998 and took up a directorship in 1999.

Apart from his advisory experience, Mark has also worked in senior management roles in commerce being involved in the financial control, strategic and business planning spheres in the fund management and asset custodial industry.

Mark’s primary role is to assist his clients to grow and develop their businesses by providing ongoing and proactive advice. He places great emphasis on becoming a valuable ‘partner’ in their businesses and not just a spectator.

Mark has a diverse client base covering industries including:

  • Aboriginal and public benevolent institutions
  • Professional practices
  • Clubs and societies
  • Retail businesses

Mark’s area of expertise covers the provision of taxation and business services advice to these enterprises.

Additional areas of significant experience in the consultancy field include feasibility studies, business planning, business valuations, sales and acquisition advice and investigative accounting.

Mark has a strong affinity with the Northern Territory and has an intimate understanding of the very specific business and cultural environment facing it.
