Career summary In 1986 Peter left Ernst & Whinney, having held the position of Senior Manager, and joined Gamble Ryan & Partners Ltd where he was admitted as a Partner at age 28. At Gamble Ryan & Partners Peter continued his earlier interest in corporate reconstruction and corporate advisory work, where he has handled numerous strategic planning assignments, business review, valuations and business workouts. The skills employed in his daily professional life involve team management and project planning, financial and business operational restructuring, strategic planning, negotiating with stakeholders, strategic market management, acquisition/divestment strategies and associated due diligence work and extensive applied knowledge of commercial, competition and employment law. Peter has extensive knowledge in corporate and business advising and is a specialist in the fields of tax planning, capital gains corporate restructuring, acquisition and financing and employee remuneration strategies. Peter resigned in June 2002 as Company Secretary of the public company Henry Walker Eltin Limited a position that he held for 16 years.
